By the people living around this volcano, Bromo is associated with the Hindu god Brahma. the creator of the universe. As an offering, fruits, flowers and livestock are thrown in the crater to appease the gods and to stay in harmony with nature. This  sculptural table piece is an altar to show gratitude and appreciation for the things nature gives us.
