When hiking the rim of volcán Santo Tomas on Isabela Island, Galapagos, you’re walking on the line of contrast between life and death.
A pitch black giant crater on one hand and gentle and lush green slopes on the other. Bushes full with ripe and juicy guava as far as the eye can see.
Guava. Guava only.
And then to realize that guava isn’t endemic to the Galapagos and destroyed everything until there was only guava.
Meant as a fruit throne to honor the endemic fruits of the islands of Galapagos. Suitable as a wall piece.
